Lack of discipline is a cause of stress as a parent.

Lack of discipline is what causes kids to run amok.

You are the parent and you are supposed to set rules such as bedtimes, screen time limits, no candy after X:XX, and routines.

You are supposed to tell them no.

Kids are supposed to get mad at you.

Kids are going to complain about bedtime.

Kids are going to try to say “but but but mom”

And your job is to say, “no buts.”

Kids need this kind of structure and discipline.

Too many kids nowadays rule their households and run over their parents.

What you allow, will continue.

Discipline is work. It takes patience and consistency. Discipline is also creating a healthy environment.

Your children will one day thank you for your discipline.
